To instill in each student, a high level of confidence and determination, the Vidyalaya is committed to an open and supportive environment. Programmes are designed to encourage student development and to foster leadership, service mentality and creativity. The house system is an integral part of the school and helps to co-ordinate various activities in the corporate life.
The initiative and capabilities of individual students are continuously watched and those with inherent or cultivated leadership qualities are selected as a Captains of each house.
The Vidyalaya children from Std.II onwards are grouped into 4 houses :
Charge of each house is vested in the hands of a group of teachers. House teachers of each house keep a close link with the children and their parents. Inter House competitions are conducted to develop spirit of healthy sportsmanship. To instill the spirit of service and sacrifice, strength of character, discipline and comradeship, students are urged to participate actively in all House activities and carry out duties.
Co-curricular activities also form an integral part of school's educational programme and inter-house competitions are held for various activities. Participation in such activities contributes to the enhancement of the student’s personality. To explore the talent and to encourage involvement and co-operation individual items are conducted house wise.
Certificate of Merit with words of appreciation like Outstanding, Excellent, Very Good, Good are given to the participant instead of three prizes for the first three positions.
Club offers a relaxing and intellectual discussion of different Authors & Literature. Members meet once in a week to exchange ideas, emotions and reviews on the selected reading.
This club offers fun, age- appropriate activities that develop problem solving and mathematical skills.
This club fuels the wonders of learning through different experiments and observations. The club has organized science exhibition at school.
Play for FUN and enjoyment of sports. The key purpose of this club is to promote sportsmanship, discipline and team work. The club provides a healthy and wholesome activity for the students and believe that sports teach valuable life lessons for teenagers.
